1995 302 4x4 motor mount replacement

I'm trying to change the motor mounts on my 302 4x4 and can get access to all the bolts except the two front motor mount/block bolts. I can't get a straight line on them from underneath. With the torque required to loosen them, I don't want to try universal joints or anything. There doesn't seem to be room to do them from up top with the torque required either. I know lots of you have probably done this and any tips would be greatly appreciated. The bolts have been soaked but I still have the fear of any of the block bolts shearing off. All tips greatly appreciated!!!

if you get the mounts off of the block of the motor, use a jack to lift that side of the motor up and create more space

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking I could get a bit more room doing that but it won't change the fact that the cross-member metal is in the way of a straight line to the front bolts. They are 2" forward of the cross-member. I'm hoping someone can pass on how they achieved it. (not much room)
