1964/78 FT engines: 330 2V Medium Duty / 330 2V Heavy Duty / 361 2V / 361 4V (1976/78) / 391 4V.
The 330 M/D shares some parts with 352/360 FE engines. The 330 H/D is based off the 361.
With one exception, these engines were only installed in 500 series and larger trucks.
1973/78 F350's made exclusively for U-Haul came with the 300 M/D also known as the 330 X/D (eXrta Duty).
While there were industrial versions of FT engines, a 1973 LN (or any other year/series truck) would not have come with an FT industrial engine.
OP: Post the 4th digit of your LN's VIN. (4th digit-engine code).

I remember those U-Haul F-350's with the 330's in them. Strange how they continued to build them after the F-350's went to 351M's and 400's.

While FE production ended in 76 FT production continued til 1979. The FT oil pan Will hold a lot of oil!!! You can get 12 in there and still be over 2 inches from the crank. I run those pans on FE engines because I like them over the stock or aftermarket FE pans.

If it is an original engine, it is an FT.
The FT uses a front engine mount as pictured here:

The crank snout is a larger diameter, and the exhaust manifolds are different. There are several internal differences as well.

It is a FT, so what would be the capacity of that oil pan . It looks to be a deep sump pan.
