It was stolen and wrecked nearly a month ago. Supplemental damage estimate put it over the top. The only ones in it were a bunch of illegals, and they all got away.
Yeah, I had made peace with the fact that I was going to get her back, and was quite shocked to get the call yesterday. Actually cried a bit again over it. But it does clear up a LOT of issues, both real and anticipated, and I do believe it is best all the way around.
And yes, they valued her quite high, about 1000K less than what I paid for her two years ago. So either I made a great deal when I bought her or these trucks hold their value like no others.
Still pisses me off though. I think the only way to feel better about it is to take delivery on a brand spanking new one! LOL!! Bring on the holiday specials!!

Wow Pam. Fortune has smiled on you. Maybe that lemon will turn into lemonade. These big Fords do hold their value tough. I had a similar experience with an Excursion. Bought it for $8001 off ebay in '08 as a temporary towing vehicle because I was disappointed with the '08 SD's. Sold it last summer for $6,500. It was a V10 and had 165,000 miles on it and still looked and ran great. $1,500 for three years of use of the beast was awesome.

I guess you've had better luck than me. I'm shopping for a 2011 and have a 2004 F350 Crew Cab w/ 8ft bed and PSD 6.0 XLT trim. KBB says trade in low end is $13,300 yet the only offers I've had around here are $6k and $8k! Not to mention that the entire motor was replaced by Ford @ 102k miles about two years ago so it's one of the latest (and good) 6.0's out there. Had it on eBay and Craigslist too with no takers.
In any case I'm not seeing new incentives today for the SuperDuty. Anyone seeing something new?
Also, what's with the 2012 order guide? Seems only an early edition of the Canadian one is floating around. If the order bank is open don't you need an order guide?

This is what it's been since the beginning of the month. There are rumors floating around there there's some Memorial Day specials coming out however I believe those are all just rumors at this point since nobody has produced anything to show that there are incentives coming before these expire at the end of the month.

Ford has nearly 50,000 SDs in the order bank with 4-6 weeks of production left. I doubt they're going to give any larger incentives...they can't build everything they have ordered now. Why would they discount further?
I'm signing papers on my 11' in about a 1/2 hour. Crap I hope the new incentive isn't better than the $3500 off sale price I'm getting now. Wait and see I guess.

ask the dealer if you qualify for the $750 Ford Private Cash incentive also.
There is one dealer in this area that is taking $12,000 off MSRP on all KR Super Duty's (Duties?) until the end of the month, so I'm headed up there today to look at the Bronze they have in stock. I like starting at 48K rather than 60K.
