Factory vs Aftermkt Nav

I will be trading in my 2011 Lariat to get a special order 2011 XLT. I'm tired of bumping my head on the lower moonroof headliner. However, I will miss the music recording capabilities of the Nav radio. Is there an aftermarket radio that can record like this?

I think there are a few Sync capable Nav units out there. One of them by Kenwood I believe. I am interested as well but will wait for someone else to go through the pain of install first LOL.
