Curious as to what these trucks would like like with the entire grill painted. Particuarly interested to see what one would look like in colour-matched black. JC
Take your grill out scuff the area you want to paint, go to Lowes and get what ever color you want. Paint the area you want to paint, let it dry reinstall the grill..... You're welcome
Actually looked at my grill for a few minutes today. The place I would like to paint is the side brackets inside the grill outer ring. Think I will take care of that when I return form Tenn.....

***This is not my truck. It's 6Lstrokin's truck from another fourm.***
I will add my truck is all black with painted bumpers and grill.I think it looks great but over time the front has taken a beating from rocks. It's not any different than taking a hand full of rocks and throwing them at your door panels. The front will have to be repainted soon.
I am close to taking my front grill to the Line-X place to have it sprayed. They have several color options, black would be good for me. My blue oval has started to fall apart, the clear film over the blue part is peeling away. I may elect to do something about this too. Not sure yet.

Great, so this is what we get to look forward to around 30k miles.
I may still change the surround part of the grille. I've been debating for awhile.
I figure I'll buy the KR unpainted part # 8200A and have it painted the sterling grey.
If I remember I'll ask how much that part is when I'm at the dealer Monday for the new flash.
I think if I did this, I would leave the bumper chrome and then add chrome panels along the lower part of the truck to match the height of the bumper. Business up high, party down low!
