Just Quit----Dead!!!
91 F 250 5 ltr, coasted to a stop sign and it quit dead!
It has fuel in both tanks but doesn't appear to have spark, any suggestions. I changed the oil this afternoon , did I knock something loose or what?
Help it's sitting on the side of the road.

attach a timing light to any plug wire to indicate if you have spark. if not, the module is a likely culprit, especially if the engine catches while the key is in the "start" position but dead while in the run position.
if no spark, remove distributor cap and crank engine. if the timing chain or distributor drive gear roll pin failed, it won't be turning, for anything else it will turn.
if you do have spark, its likely a fuel problem. i've seen the inertia switch fail, this should be tested by using a test light to probe for power before and after it, and if it has failed, you can simply short its 2 wires together for now, and replace the switch when its convenient.
that should be enough to get you started finding some kind of problem

Unplug the computer and see if spark returns.
If so more than likely a bad computer or no power or grounds to the computer.
If spark does not return with the computer unplugged then more than likely you have a bad TFI (ICM) module on the side of the distributor and if not that a bad PIP sensor in the distributor.

I went out this morning, it started right up, ran for 1/2 a minute or so and quit. I switched tanks just as it quit but don't think it's fuel as it wouldn't start again and there is no spark at the plugs.

Well, through a process of elimination, with several trips to the local wrecking yard my truck runs again.
Replaced coil, condenser, relays, fuel filter, finally replaced the plastic piece that attaches to the side of the distributer, and away it went.

Now what is that piece called and what does it do, and why did it cause the truck to quit.

It is the TFI (ICM) module that we talked about above.
TFI (ICM) module = Ignition Control Module.
It fires the Ignition Coil at the right time.
When it goes bad it stops firing the Ignition coil when it is hot first and then in time will fire the coil at all. When it does not fire the coil the engine dies.
If you do not put a lot of white stuff between it and the distributor it will do it again.
White stuff = Thermal Compound
