7.5l dipstick tube?

I've been searching everywhere for a dipstick tube for a 7.5l. I'm replacing the engine in a 92 C350 with a reman ford unit. When I pulled the old motor I found the dipstick tube rusted through. I was hoping someone might have a source for a new one of even a good used one. Any help would be appreciated. By the way it's the push in style that goes in the oil pan.

Thanks for the sugestions. Unfortunately I've explored all those options without success. Ford still lists them but I went to the dealer and they couldn't get one. No luck at the junk yard either. Everyone I've seen is rusted bad. Summit lists one that pushes into the oil pan but they say it only fits a crate engine with its original pan. They can't say for sure it will fit my original pan.

Summit has a Lokar that will work. I had one on my F250, the only complaint I had about it, is its designed more for a street rod than a truck. The handle/**** end of it ended right next to the header, making it a pita to check when the engine was hot, not to mention needing to climb on the front bumper to reach the thing. Thats why I went back to a factory style tube. Just a thought, but have you looked at getting some brake tubing and taking whats left of your original one and taking the two to make one?

Welcome to FTE

Your profile says 1992 F350, so I'm assuming this is what you have...since there's no such thing as a C350. If it's an E350 (Econoline), the following dipstick is in-correct.

F1TZ-6754-A (replaced E9TZ-6754-G) .. 7.5L Engine Oil Dipstick Tube / Available from Ford.

Fits: 1989/93 F250/350 & F(Super Duty) 7.5L

MSRP: $93.28 // FTE Ford Dealer Parts Dept sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM price: $67.16 (Horizon Ford in Seattle WA).

You can order from Ed and save a few bucks, or if in a hurry...

Only PA Ford Dealer that has it: MANDERBACH FORD in Temple PA has 1 = 610-929-3683.

C350 should be a Centurion F350/Bronco hybrid?

There's no such thing as a C350 in any Ford Truck Parts Catalog. It's either an E350 or F350.

Centurions are aftermarket conversions, are not listed in any Ford Parts Catalog.

Right, what I was meaning is I have seen the F350/Bronco hybrid referred to as a C350. Probably in reference to "Centurion". Not that it matters, as except for the Bronco specific items, all the rest of the parts are F350 parts.

The first Centurions were 4 door Bronco's. After they were completed, Centurion drove them nationwide to display to Ford Dealers. One showed up at Santa Monica Ford, but I cannot recall when, t'was prolly in the 1980's.

btw: No Bronco ever came w/a 460 engine. Largest available engine 400 2V = 1978/82.

Yep... considering I have always had a soft spot for both F350s and Bronco's I always wanted one!

Found this when I was looking for the pic of the Centurion... they had custom badges made that said C350, for classic (I woulda thought Centurion?). They built the 4 door broncos on a F350 cc chassis though, so it would have had a 460 available as an option, since it was the heavy chassis. FoMoCo broncs never did though Either way, for parts, the OP should be able to find what he needs by searching F350 parts

I found the OP a dipstick tube (in fact I found 86 of the little darlin's), see post #7. It's still available from Ford...at a horrid price...even with Ed's discount. I remember when these things were 12 bucks-MSRP.

Thats right around the price I paid for mine in 05? Got tired of trying to check the oil with the Lokar one I used on the original build. Least it hasn't gone up anymore (but its still an OUCH price! LOL)

I looked at your profile to find out where Graniteville is, noticed your DOB: September 10, 1968. My DOB is September 9, 1944. One day...and 24 years older. Gadzooks, I'm old compared to all you young 'un's here on FTE
