Antique Truck Show in Knoxville

Just thought I would throw this out there for anybody interested.
The Smoky Mountain Chapter of ATHS (American Truck Historical Society) is having a Truck and tractor show April 8 & 9 at Chilhowee Park. There are usually a lot of BIG trucks at these but they welcome all trucks. I'm trying to get my bed finished up in time to be there.

Too bad, my 73 E-100 in in Easly SC getting work done, those ugly crank out camper windows are gone now.

Well, not many Fords at this show, but there sure where a lot of pretty Big Rigs. I spoke with the folks from the Smoky Mountain, Music City and Chattanooga chapters of ATHS and they are hoping to draw more smaller trucks to some of these shows. They don't give out many awards, basically had only 4 awards, 1 Antique Truck, 1 Antique Tractor, 1 Peoples choice and 1 exhibitors choice. But there were 2 days of meeting new folks, talkin about trucks and free T shirts and the fee for entering was 1 can for the local food pantry. Here's some pics of the 140+ trucks and about 40 antique tractors

Next time I'm in Knoxville, I hope to get my Maytag runnin, I need a pulley puller to get in to my ignition to tighten it, then a plug and plug wire should get it going.

My FIL up in Michigan has a pair of them mounted on a stand. When they are both running it sounds like an old Harley 45.

I wish I had the washing machine, it was likely tossed out when great grandma got electricity, they used the engine to pump water from the creek to water the cattle. I'm not sure what I'll do with it, but it's family, I'll never part with it.
