rack and pinion
The straight axel moves as a whole and has one bar that keeps the wheels aligned while rack and pinion was made for two seperate supentions and has two pivots for each of these. Hmmm, come to think of it, it seems to me that on turns where you're not level (like anytime you're moving) the alignment will go way out of wack. Could be fun to drive that way, heh heh.
My advice is to stay away from this idea, unless you have an ample supply of cash and time to see what fun could come of this. The thing probribly won't be drivable on turns.
