For anyone that wants to put an AOD behind a 351w you can not use the C6 flexplate - you'll eat your transmission in a few miles. There is approximately a 1/4" difference in where the torque converter sits. The C6 flexplate will push the TC too far into the trans.
What you need is a flexplate from an 89 Crown Vic with the 351w/AOD combo. Actually, any early 302 or 351w mated to a C5 of FMX trans will also work.

you'll eat your transmission in a few miles. There is more than just one C6 flexplate.

What you needed to do before posting this jazz, was to look in the 1980/89 truck and car parts catalogs.
E0AZ-6375-A .. A/T Flexplate: 1981 E150/250 351W/C6 & F150/350 & Bronco 351W/C6 / 1981/89 Crown Vic/Mercury Grand Marquis/Lincoln Town Car 302/351W/AOD
There are two other A/T flexplates used in the 1980's, depending on the applications could be used with C6 and/or AOD.
The applications are so confusing and lengthy, the only way to do it would be to post the parts catalog pics of all the apps.
