What is the best/easiest way to line up the body line on the cab and the body line on the bed of a 63' f100? I don't like how the body lines line up, and think it would look much cleaner if I could line them up.
Your 63 will have a 57-60 bed on it that was reused through 63 because of the Uni that was introduced. You might try a 64-66 bed if you like those lines better.
Why is that? Where are you located? There might be help closer than you think.

Im in Central Washington state. I haven't seen many 60's ford around here. And the few that I have seen the person either doesn't want to part it out or the want $$ for it, even though they just sit there.
The is not much you can do with the old bed as it is supposed to look like that. Later 64 to 66 bed can be added but it will entail a change in the wheelbase to accommodate the bed. This means you either need to cut the frame and modify or relocate the suspension.

If it gets to where it really bothers you, you could always raise the radiator cap and drive a 64-66 truck underneath it!

Garbz what is the difference in the 63 & 64 wheelbase, you make it sound like it is a mile or more. I would deal with it rather than have one of those nasty looking beds on my truck.
FWIW- my son worked in a machine shop and we borrowed their frame drill and moved the suspension back 7 1/2 inches on my 66 F - 250 so i could put a box on it that fit the line. worked out real well. took the two of us two days to do the work. a huge amount of time was spent measuring to make sure it was right.( and of course there's the beer factor)the only cost was the grade 8 bolts for the rebolting. but then again not everyone has that option. i get the thumbs up almost on a daily basis from people that like the truck. I did my '62 a different way.....I shortened the box by 6". It was fairly simple really, cut it at the front and all the holes line up. You also have to bob the rear of the frame 6". It was way easier for me than moving the rear end. 4x4's also need spacer blocks between the box and frame.
