I have a 2006 f150 4x4 truck. It has the 5.4 V8, automatic motor. The 4x4 is NOT the shift on the fly. I have the 18in rim set.
Within the last few days I have been hearing a pretty loud squeaking noise coming from what seems like under the cab of the truck. This happens when I press the gas. If I am coasting, I do not hear this noise. It also makes this squeaking noise when I am backing up. Also, the truck shakes pretty good from around 25MPH to about 65+MPH. Has anyone had any experience with this type of sound/issue? Thanks.
My truck is doing the exact same thing. I found that the noise is coming from the right front wheel area. Everything seems tight from the outside, but I haven't taken it apart yet. Have you found out anything about your's?
