era of licence plate?

Question era of licence plate?
Can any of you tell me what era this licence plate is from? No stickers on either the front or back plate. These were on a partly restored 51 F1 that my dad bought.

It is from the late 70s to early 80s. It is the plate that was in use prior to the white one now in use.

Thanks digger. And being a true Alberta truck, of course the windshield has multiple stone cracks.

We actually use a truck as a truck in Alberta, not an oversized sedan.

I believe that plate was first used in 1974 last used in 1984.
