Which shackles to get for a lift?

You can do this to some extent. If it is a true 2" lift shackle meaning the bolt holes are 4" father away than stock, then my concern would be too much angle on my driveshaft. This is just the rear shackle on the front springs, thereby you are effectively turning your yoke on your front driveshaft more towards the ground. I did this with a 1" shackle kit with no driveshaft issues, but I did notice a difference in ride qualitity due to no adjustment in the track bar. The ideal way would be a new 2" hangars for the front of the leaf springs and then the 2" shackles for the rear of the front leaf springs. This will keep your yoke pointed in a more correct angle to your transfer case. But you will more than likely have to change your track bar to an adjustable one as it will be out of phase and be 'pulling' your axle to one side. I didn't do this and the truck was more stiff. Later just did a full lift kit.
