ABS trouble ?

ABS trouble ?
I need a some help here. I am 140 miles from home with the camper. I have an 03 EX V10 with 92000 miles. For the last few weeks the ABS light will flash on and the speedo will drop off and come right back up to speed if you dont see it, you dont know it happened. Today the wife was driving and said that when she was going up a hill it feelt like the EX chugged and on flat ground it was ok. Any guess where to look. I had the codes read 3 weeks ago and came up with a VSS trouble and a tail shaft sensor. I changed both of them and all was good for 3 days and the troubles returned. So I checked and cleaned the battery ground at the battery and the motor all good for 3 days troubles came back. 9 out of the 10 sparkplug boots were changed and a new fuel filter was installed 2 weeks ago. Any ideas would help.

My 02 X did the same thing. I replaced those sensors also. Ended up taking it to a Ford shop, and they found one Coil over plug (cop) was bad. The insulation on the coil was broken down and it was sending a RF signal to the abs module. Replaced that (cop) and it was back to normal again.

Thanks for the replys I am getting tired of chasing this issue. Tomarrow when/if I get home I am going to get a coil and put it in, move it around until hopefully I find the bad one my luck it will be the #5 coil. I will keep you updated thanks again

I had to drive it back home from Raccoon Lake state park pulling the trailer. It ran good on the flat roads but any little hill and it ran like crap.
