302s are bad about the injectors getting gunked up, I have 3.55s in rear and can climb most hills and it will stay in OD, get those injectors presser clean by a pro. not cheap but you will be amazed. Also get 16 to 19 MPG, on these old trucks speed kills MPG, 60 or 65 is as fast as I drive most times.
