need red oval emblem

anyone know where I can find a ford emblem in red instead of blue?

The kind of emblem that goes on the truck? You won't find them I don't think, "blue oval" of ford wouldn't be "red oval". But if you wanted, I bet you could paint it.

I saw one in red on ebay about a week ago or so. It was one of those lighted ones though. Red at day, blue lettering at night. You can search for one by looking for lighted emblems, then just not connect the leads and you would have a red one all the time.

you can also make one your self i painted mine black, there is a how-to some where on this site i think although it may be on another ford site.

There's an article somehwere about acetoning your elblems, and painting them the color you want.

Basically, you just separate the layers, scrape the blue paint off, apaint it the color you want, they once it's dry, glue it back together and re-install. There's more to it, but you get the idea.

Speakin' of red emblems what are these after market red and yellow emblems i have been seeing lately. They look like some other companies logo. I think it is a discrace to do that to a ford. Bleed Blue drive a Ford and make a ricer pee yellow. Thats just my 2 cents. Its your truck do what you want, just don't let my truck find out, she's a little protective and has an anger problem.
