Gear Ratio Help??

Hey guys, Im new and hoping yall can help me out. I have an 08 Powerstroke, and i recently added a Procomp 8 inch lift, with 38 tall tires. My question is what gear ratio do i need to put in to make it closest to stock again. stock gears are 3:73.. Right now the truck is just slow, no power, and drags up hills..and towing sucks!! The most i will be towing is a 18ft equipment trailer with a rockcrawler on it. Current mods on the truck are pro flow 5 inch exhaust DPF delete, SCT Livewire Tuner, and AFE Stage 2 intake. Like i said im new, and im looking for the right gear ratio to help me out. thanks guys....

Hi Prime08KR and welcome to FTE.

There are calculators on this site that will tell you the information you need.

But, assuming your stock tires were 32 inches, you would need 4.429 gears to return to stock. The 4.30 ratio is pretty close.
