Just bought a set of 18x9 rims with 4.5" backspacing. Wondering what would be a good tire for this combo, on a 06 f250 fx4. Looking at the 325/65/18s Nittos or the 305/65/18 BFG All Terrains.. Will both work without rubbing? Dont want to order either one without some input. Thanks in Advance.
With 4.5" BS The wheels will be sticking out of the wheel wells pretty far. 325/65 tires will be about 13.5" wide. Without a lift of some kind they will most likely not clear.
The 305/65's should fit with the stock wheels but I am not sure with the BS you have on the 18x9" wheels.
The truck looks to have a leveling kit in it, if not Ill put one under it no problem there. Another option is a 305/70/18.. this may fit? Anything you would suggest for it, the current tires are 275/70/18 on stock wheels, which work out to around a 33x10.5, and they seem to have a ton of room for a couple more inches.

Well I have 35x12.50x18 tires on my F350 with snowplow package but I also have 5.98" of back space on my wheels. I have no rubbing issues at all. I think the issue you are going to have is the backspace on the wheel you have, 4.5" With the wheels sticking that far out of your wheel well I am not sure what will rub and where and what size tire is the biggest you could go.
