gauge question
I just don't seem to have good luck with gauges. After less than a year my mechanical temp gauge is finished. I was thinking about replacing it with a Summit electrical gauge, along with the same brand oil psi and volt gauge.
Has anyone used their gauges? Would I be better of going with a SW set?
I have an autometer mech oil gauge now, and I'm just not happy with it.

yes i have the summit brand gauges on my 85 and they do the job. just make sure each gauge has its own path to chassis or engine block ground, and get a ground strap. Reason being is i set mine up and grounded them to the battery and when i put a load on the truck the gauges dropped and didnt read correctly, grounded to chassis and got a ground strap and they have been working good ever since. price isnt bad at all compared to the auto meters.
