Question for ANY in the know...
Is the F-150 ecoboost launch the precursor to the Bobcat in the Super duty line???

I'd say its possible for the SD to get the EB 5.0l in due time. I suspect Ford to get as much production time out of the fairly new 6.2l platform first though.
With the ridiculous emissions and mpg standards on the horizon the vehicles (and engines) are only going to get more complicated and expensive. My advise is to get a new vehicle before the new standards take effect and take care of it. I am interested to see what effect these mandated requirements will have on the auto manufacturers, especially GM and Chrysler/Dodge/Fiat/Ram/Jeep. It appears to me Ford is ahead of the game compared to the other companies I mentioned.
