As you all know I found out my truck has a crack/pinholes in the block, and I was ready to throw in the towel and sell the truck, I had it for sale for two days, and I couldn't stand the thought of it not being mine anymore, so I did same calling around and got a new engine for the ole girl, it's a 7.3 n/a school bus engine with 144k miles on it, one of my buddies was trying to sell this engine for 500$ and he dropped the price to 350$ AND he's gonna take out my old engine and drop in this new one for 30$
Not a bad deal in my book.
The best thing about the engine is it has the new glow plug harness and controller!
Anyways enough chatting and show some pics!!
And as a note the turbo is NOT going back on this engine, and NO it's not for sale someone else who has been wanting it has first dibs, and if he doesn't want it then I will sell it.
Freakin AWESOME DEAL MAN! Oh my gosh that is so cool. Time for the happy dance...come on, come on, you know you wanna do it with me! YIPPEE!!!! Can't wait to get my girl going again.
