1985 ranger sas

im getting a 85 ranger and i want to put at least a solid axle up front
tires will probably stay around 35s but the plan is a mud truck
so any ideas of what to throw in there?

BTW, I'd go with a Dana 60 at least if you're planning on muddin' it.

I've seen plenty of SAS'd Rangers with D44's. Some even run a D35. It's about how you rebuild them and the parts you use.

What kind of motor do you want to run? Or will you stick with stock?
