I just got back from Chris's shop, front end sheet metal is now off along with some body parts. Working on old cars is sure rough on the liver

meh adds character. Ill take some pics tomorrow. The car is a canadian mercury monarch so ya i guess its a canadian thing. I got the drive train in the shop now and for the best price of all.... FREE! Ran the numbers on the engine and i was plesantly surprised, havent run them tranny numbers yet but i have high hopes. We discovered that i have the nicest looking "seized" flathead we have ever seen when we took the heads off

I think its cool that your going for a reliable driver as well. What good is a car ya cant drive wherever ya wanna drive it!
