Bilstein shocks.

I think i'm interested in getting some,, dont know much about them. I see a lot of you guys have them. I looked around some and the 5100 series is maybe what i want. Whats so great about these shocks? Are they just shocks that are super good? Do they lift the truck any? How would i know what length (or model number) to get. I"m gonna raise the truck a few more inches. Do just measure the length i have now and then add the expected raise? Do i measure them extended? With a load on them? Soooo many questions. Sorry. Herb

No shocks will provide lift, ever, unless there coil over shocks. I dont have the blistein shocks but I hear good things about them. For size, based on your sig you will need to order them for a 6" lift, or another way is to measure your shocks both fully extended and fully collapsed, most manufactures list those in their specs.

If you search Bilstein, you'll find some dealers that have alot of information about sizing so that you get the right ones. When I ordered mine, the box said Dodge trucks. The part number was right so I called the business and they said that some shocks will fit different makes, based on the application. They are a huge upgrade from what I had, very pleased with the ride and handling.
