i am having a little problem with my switches. for some reason the lights on my bull gaurd will stay on regardless if the #4 switch is on or not and at the same time my high idle mod, which is wired to the #1 switch, will not work anymore. i was gone for two months and had someone supposedly "taking care of it" for me but when i got back is when all this started happening. is there a separate fuse for the 05-07 PSD's that could be out? i don't know why the lights would work and the high idle wouldn't if it was a fuse but hell at this point any suggestions would be helpful.
Check the fuses, lights should be to #1, 30 amp fuse, high idle to #4, 10 amp. The Aux switches have fuses and you may not actually be wired right, did your care taker mess with some wiring?
i was under the impression that it was just the opposite. i thought the #1 and #2 were the 10 amp switches and the #3 and #4 were the 30 amp. i bought the truck with the lights wired to the #4.
they shouldn't have messed with anything. all they were supposed to do was drive it once a week for me while i was gone. i don't think any of them are savy enough to go start fooling around with any wiring anyways. i'm gonna check my fuses though. thanks for the reply mike!
yeah no kidding. my last chance is to hope that somehow maybe my dumb A$$ didn't do a very good crimp job and somehow the wire came apart. fuses are good, brake lights are good, ebrake light comes on. i don't know what else it could be.
