My flare-side bed is literally rusting apart. I need several parts, which I can buy from NPD or LMC, but I still do not know how I should fix the bed sides, as they're not reproduced. Mine are rusted down the sides where the bolts fasten to the bed. I was considering swapping beds for either another flare-side or even a fleetside short bed. I don't know what else I can do.

lol.

Nah, the Ocala branch never has anything good, and they require a license, so i'd have to go through a broker and pay the broker fees too.

that would be a easy fix, sheet of 18 guage, a metal break, drill and weld some new in

Maybe for you. I have no experience with a welder, nor do I own one or have good access to one. I also have very little experience with metal fabrication. It seems that unless you can do this sort of thing yourself, you're going to pay someone else big money to do it.

I wonder why the underhood boxes have broken latches so often?

The previous owner knew enough to use a Motorcraft filter! You might want to replace those wiper blades soon!

You did well. Congratulations!
