was watching a insurance auction today and thought this would be a good toy to bomb around in so put a low bid on it and got it, its from wichita, anyone from that area know anything about it,it says it runs but cant believe them half the time, looks like a road trip this week to go get it,just happen to have a 83 here for front end parts
will let you know when i get it home, these online auctions are buy it and like it ,no returns,i have several boxes if its bad,if you look close there are new bolts on rear fenders so they should be ok,the rest well, i took a chance
My flare-side bed is literally rusting apart. I need several parts, which I can buy from NPD or LMC, but I still do not know how I should fix the bed sides, as they're not reproduced. Mine are rusted down the sides where the bolts fasten to the bed. I was considering swapping beds for either another flare-side or even a fleetside short bed. I don't know what else I can do.

that would be a easy fix, sheet of 18 guage, a metal break, drill and weld some new in
Maybe for you. I have no experience with a welder, nor do I own one or have good access to one. I also have very little experience with metal fabrication. It seems that unless you can do this sort of thing yourself, you're going to pay someone else big money to do it.
ya that would suck but probably cheaper than buying a better box, i'm going to go pick it up friday so i'll know how bad it really is, maybe i'll luck out this time cuz the last one i got in KC was a rust bucket
well, got it home and am happy how it was, runs good, clutch and brakes good, parts were in the box except the front bumper but i have a good one,it has the locking hood latch, tach, toolbox under hood, and some blue box hooked up to the coil, box is nice, here's some pics
