What are you concerned about? They most certainly put the correct oil in as opening the hood would cause them to realize it's not a V10.

And what makes you so sure he has the wrong oil?

With nothing saying "CJ-4" I'd be a bit nervous, but the 6.7L is spec'd for 10w30 while the 6.8L V10 isn't.

I don't think you have a problem with the oil only with the guy who wrote the invoice because he is most likely not the one who changed your oil and I would bet he used the right oil

You care to explain to us what "not c-4 rated" oil will do to his motor if he "stresses it"? Long term effects maybe, but short term, it's still a 10w30 oil just lacking the detergent of diesel oil and likely having a lower TBN.

Maybe the sky is falling and I'm the only chicken that doesn't see it!

cj-4 rated oil

almost any oil will lubricate a motor that is just running at low load and low rpm. when it is being stressed ,it needs special build quality to perfarm. seein that we don't know what oil he has ,let's change it just to be sure, a new motor is a lot more than 14 qts of oil.
