They are pretty cracked and dry and slipping on the pulleys and the tractor barely moves now, the one powering the blades seem to be okay but ordered a new one for them too..$107 for all three, a lot cheaper than a new mower..besides I just ordered a set of winter tires with rims..
Did you get a better price on tires and wheel? I decided to give these Toyo AT3 a try this winter instead of buying another set of snow tires for the ‘06. They worked pretty good on the Yukon. If I came across a set of used for a good price I’d consider it.
I priced out a new JD riding mower not long ago.. $4-5k. Nuts.
I don't want to spend anything on a new tractor if I can help it, these old MTD still did the job up to today, new belts I'm hoping will keep it going for years to come..
prices weren't much different at the other places in Dryden . Not going with studded tires this time and getting aluminum alloy rims instead of the steel rims that rust after one winter. Will be about $2400 all said and done..can't believe how much things have risen in price these days..
