It's theshower in the master bath! several weeks ago, i had that crazy leak under the foundation, well the shower is where the plumber dug into the wall to fix it. so now i'm caught up enough to finish tearing it out and remodelling it. the wife has wanted me to redo it for years now lol

the tear-out went fast, but yeah i bet the remainder is gonna be some work! this will be my first shower, not sure how its gonna go lol

 

Was the leak around the drain Rob..?

 

I have never done a bath.. but I am thinking about swapping out the tub for a full size shower for the lower step in for later on..

 

I'm thinking of replacing the kitchen counter tops maybe this summer but need to do the front deck first..

 

I need to do my Back small deck this year and won't be doing the bath until the nephew finds his own place.

 

Is he looking for his own place..?

 

no, the big leak was on the hot supply to the master bath zone. plumber sleeved it with pex and patched it up right there through the shower. BUT, there's been water leaking from the door side of the pan for a long time, and the cold supply has been seeping for a wile evidently, theres a lot of buildup on the pipes! i'll get better pics later

 

i gotta say, it's nice not stepping over the ledge of a tub, worst place to slip is in the tub ouch ouch ouch!

 

Not yet but I Don't plan on having him spend too many years here.. he really doesn't help that much around the place and his popping out to smoke off and on all night is getting old..

 

Might have to use some tough love and set him straight Steve, I had to do that years ago with a cousin that needed a place to stay while he was settling into a new job and looking for a place of his own, except he got so comfortable he wasn't looking for a place until I gave him a weeks notice. I think he ended up mooching off another relative but I never heard from him again...lol

 

I will tolerate it a bit more.. his next relatives are in Ohio. He has some friends in Atlanta Georgia..

 

It's like a lot of the kids these days, they grow up thinking it's there home and don't want to leave...lol

 

And a lot of them think you owe them something..
