hello everyone I have a question. How exactually do I use seafoam and is it all what they say about it. I am kinda worried about poring stuff in my engine. I have a 1992 f150 5.8. thanks guys
lol, i tried to use 1/3rd but couldnt pour it in fast enough to choke the motor out, got it to bog down so to say but that was it......i poured about 1/2 to 5/8ths into mine and shut off with the key, let it sit for 20 minutes....
talk about smoke when i started her back up !....try to pick a day the wind is blowing just right aimed at an unfriendly neighbors house, lol.....
also, try not to do this on a dead calm day, you need a little wind or your going to make your house disappear with all the smoke !!
it made a huge difference in the way my truck acted and responded.....very highly recommend it !
also, every other tank i use a bottle of it with the gas, that too has helped the injectors out a lot from since when i got it...
i havent tried it in the oil or tranny yet, but im confident same type results would be had
GOOD STUFF !
EDIT: my mechanic friend told me the smoke is from loosened up carbon deposits, and the more it smokes the more it needed a treatment
