Great price (current); they are starting to repop them now. But I'm not 100% on my measurement to determnie if these are outies or innies!

These hubcaps have grease marks on their backside, so are used...not new.

The seller claims they came from a Ford Dealer, so if new...where are the boxes each one came in? NOS hubcaps would also have a glued on paper tag with an ID engineering number on it on their backside.

My guess is, someone had the dealer install accessory wheel covers, the dealer then put the hubcaps they took off, into their parts dept. A common occurrence.

These stainless steel hubcaps (C3TZ1130A) have been reproduced...and are available for about $120.00 for a set of FOUR.

There aren't any for an F250. Ford didn't offer stainless steel hubcaps for F250's until 1967, and they are "outies."

These stainless steel F100 "bottlecap" hubcaps are "innies."

Thanks for the info numbersdummy. Well I can end my futile search then. Now on to the metal argent caps I guess. These are hard to find too. I have the 17.5 wheels with innie tabs. Finding the tires to fit may be just as hard as the hub caps. See my lates album for pic of the wheels. Ill upsize the pics when I get a chance.

You might contact FTE member camperspecial65 (Don-lives in Olympia). He scrounges all the wrecking yards, may have some of these caps.

Don has a 1965 F250 Camper Special.

....and when you do find them, they won't be cheap!!

I bought a '63 F100 2wd that had the 17.5" wheels on it some 35 years ago. I couldn't locate any used 17.5" tires even back then, so I had to buy a new tire. It was only available in an 8-ply, and it cost me $80 for the tire. I'll never forget that - since I only paid $75 for the whole truck!

If I was buying all new tires and wheels -- I think I'd go with 16" wheels/tires, since currrently, it seems to be a very popular wheel size, resulting in a vast selection of 16" tires & wheels to pick from.......
