Engine Id and starter problems

I have an 83' F150 with some starter problems. I have tried to cheak the numbers on the block to ID the engine and make sure that I have a 302 but cant find the numbers in the format of a serial number. I cant find any other numbers.

The starter keeps working itself out of alignment. when it starts to grind I have to climb under the truck and remove it, Then pry the spacer straight (between the bell housing and block) and then reinstal it. This only lasts 3 or 4 days and it starts grinding again, and I have to do it all over again. Meanwhile I'm chewing the hell out of my starter gears and fexplate.

Here are the numbers that I have

EOAF D3C and a sidways 20

the way its writen is starange to me as well and I have a picture but I cant figure out how to post it so it is on my facebook located here

Sounds like your bell housing bolts might be loose

Are you talking about the bolts from the starter to the bell housing or the bolts from the bell housing to block

Also when I remove the starter to fix the problem again, the bolts are still tight
