In another thread I asked if the keypad code was hidden in my 2010 MKX, well I found it. There is a long thread on the Excursion forum on how to find the code under the dash. We purchased our MKX in Houston last month, used with 9K miles and did not get the code #. The salesman told me would I would have to go to a Lincoln dealership to let them retrive the code, BS.
I went to a local Lincoln/Ford dealer and was told they could retrive it, but would cost me $50 to hook up the computer and any Ford dealer could do it! I ask them if it was hidden like the Excursions and was told no.
Since I did not want to pay the $50, I got out the flashlight and dove under the dash. Removed the cover for the fuse panel and there it is, white sticker with the 5 digit code!!!
Will try to get the $50 from my wife since it is her car!
