I'm home! Was a great two weeks out of town...got to see family...and friends. Now all I have to do is get some BS done around here...and see if I can pull this GTG off.
Not sure I will be able to make the entire weekend though...maybe Fri/Sat...we will see. All my camping gear is in Ohio now...so I will be on limited resources...not that it matters... don't need much...can sleep in the Bronco.
Chair, pillow, sleeping bag, cooler, moonshine, and venison... good to go.
I do have a Midland "base camp" radio, and 4 handheld's for camp... we can somewhat keep in touch that way... should also work with anyone that already has anGMRS 2-way radio.
I also have a CB... (can go portable with it) Not sure how many CB'rs are out there.

This is all out of the hurricane kit...and would like to give them a good test run.

 

Dang Ken, I sure hope you can make it. You sound like one of those prepared types. I just hope you bring something that will be able to pull us out if we get the Bronco stuck since we won't have time to put the winch on before we go.

I was debating bringing my bronco, but if you are bringing yours, I will bring mine down. Dont worry, we can get you out if it gets stuck...

I do "ok"... I don't think many will have any stuck problems...been drier than lizard spit on a hot rock.
Working on it Carlene...workin on it. I will be in the Bronco...so between all the 4X4's that are there... I don't figure there will be too many that would be permanently burried.
