I need some suggestions on wheels. I like a polished or machined wheel, and something similar looking to stock. I absolutely DO NOT like chrome, and I'm not too big a fan of the wheels with all the holes in them. The cheaper the better, but I don't want to sacrifice quality. Thanks for any info.
A good reference would be something similar in design to the stock 18's that come on the 05-07 Lariats, but have the offset I need to be able to run 295/70R18's.
I will bump you to SuperDuty to see if you get better responses. I do polished aluminum wheels.
I had already posted the same thread in here and nobody ever responded, so I figured I'd try my luck in the 6.0 forum. But i know what finish I want, I just don't know what brands carry the style I'm looking for. I've tried everywhere I know to look.
I use Eagle Alloy rims, the series 186 is almost as basic as you can get. I use Busch Polish to keep the shine.
I'm not a big fan of the holes. I like more of a traditional spoke. But I'm not necessarily looking for basic, just not something so crazy/busy or gauldy like this: Eagle Alloy Wheels
How good are "machined" wheels? what material are they made out of? One set i kinda like (although they are pushing the busy/gauldy line) is the American Racing ATX Chamber Pro's.
