Project Ranger - AOL Version 4.0!
i'm towing a buddy to bradenton for the first NMRA race of the season, so i'm going to run the f350 there, after that i'll have my new lil pickup
it won't be anything radical, but should be a good little bracket truck and look nice
i picked up a 2wd 96 ranger supercab 4.0 auto
i'm ditching the 14's for these wheels here

15x7 in the front with 15x8 in the back with nitto 275/60/15 dr's
i ordered up a set of the same lund eclipse hood scoops i have on the Lightning
while in bradenton, a buddy is taking out my 3.08 open diff and putting in one of his stang diffs, reclutched with some 3.90's
already ordered up a k&n CAI, transgo corrective shift kit
probably go with a single magnaflow bullet style into 2 out the rear
i did new plugs, wires, coolant, transmission transfusion, oil, fuel filter
lastly i'm doing a maaco special next week, the truck is in pretty good shape, just 1 lil door ding, it's black, but i'm thinking i really like this color on the ranger, especially after seeing it, it looks like a good magazine color, i was on ESPN 3 times with the Lightning last year and many magazine shots (with winning 3 national events)

i'm thinking it should be low 16's to start out with with the dr's and gears and couple bolt ons, they are around 17 to 17.2 flat from the factory from what i can see
got a dual pillar with oil and water gauges also
