It looks great, did you get a 5.8 or a 5.0?, is this the one with the thump?. The driver's side mirror looks broken, if you aren't planning on replacing it right away i would advice using tie-wraps on it, just replace the tape that's there with a couple of strong tie-wraps and you'll be good for a couple of years.
This one has a 5.8 and no it is not the one with the slip yoke problem.. i am looking for a new mirror and have located several on Ebay already.. hopefully will have new mirror by the end of next week

Oh, I just noticed you're in Sullivan County. What part?? I live in Ulster County. I used to drive up your way all the time for my old job, driving a flatbed wrecker for an auto salvage company. I'd be on rt 17 almost every day, visiting all the body shops up there. Do you know old Fred Emery by any chance?
I am in westbrookville which is down the road from New York Truck Parts ( aka John's Truck Parts) off route 209.. I built here about 5 or 6 years ago but really do not know anyone from the area. Its not a development setting on my street houses are pretty far apart.. I got to know the post master and the people who own the deli and thats about it around here.. lol
Where in Ulster are you? i am all over all the time too, i used to build houses and have done several in Ulster county plus i am into photography so i am always driving around

Oh cool, I've been to NY truck parts to pick up totaled cars and trucks more times than I can remember. You're almost on the Orange County border. 209 can be a dangerous friggin road down there. I've been to Westbrookville auto body a million times, too. Sullivan was my area, and I loved it. As a matter of fact, my Cummins parts truck came from Sullivan County, way out in Hurleyville, at one of the shops I frequented.
I live right off the Wallkill River, in the Kingston area.
about 5 minutes from my house is the county line.. lol
I use Nick Roberti's Marine in Kingston for my boat not to mention i pass thru all the time on my way up to the Adirondacks..
Yea Nick is a good guy, trust worthy for sure, hard to fine someone who you can trust to work on your stuff and Nick is one of them. I actually bought one of my boats from Nick's sister and her husband. It was a Chris Carft Concept 26. Blue and white boat..
My brother bought a boat back in the '80s that Nick had built, it was a black (17 foot?) Laser hull with a built-up 300+ hp outboard. The thing went 104 mph.
