truck tires confuse me. i prefer shopping for tires for my quad...everything is inches, none of this 285 295 garbage...when i buy quad tires its 18 inches x 10 x8. so much easier

You can buy truck tires the same way alden. You should be able to get 33's on that truck without a problem I think. I put 32x11.5x15's on my truck and they look pretty good. Your originals are about 33x9.5x16 I believe. You might be better off sticking with a narrower tire, better for the slushy stuff. Coopers make a good tire, and are a decent deal. My buddy has the atr's and likes them a lot. He's also had the m&s tires(mud and snow). They are good but don't last as long. Tire rack is a good place to look just to get an idea of what you want. You can check reviews from there as well.

I had Cooper ST tires on my 79 F150 and loved them. Even plowed with them and never had an issue. Also, I believe only Cooper's and Goodyear's are made in America anymore. I have Goodyear's on the truck now but they are probably more than you want to spend. Coopers would probably be your best bet. I got a guy here in Bristol that always has the best price around, he even beats tirerack for me. Most Cooper dealers are gonna be smaller shops with similar prices though.

the worst part of the whole rebuild will be fixing the head. stupid Ferrea 2 piece valves are never going back in, only Kibblewhite one piece from now on.

So who wants to have a play with 6.0s day?

I've got 1 in need of an EGR delete and it's going to get head studs and all that at the same time. So the engine will be coming out.

And I've got another that needs a coolant filter. Probably not til December or so but yea who wants to come play?

Aaron: We'll have pizza
