Well I can't post that much cause I am at work today. I can't wait till next weekend! I will be off for three.....yes......three whole days!
Ren-fest was a good time. Nice weather and lots of good food too. Got home a little later then I wanted but good times had by all.
I am jealous, I want to work on outside stuff at home. I need to mow for one thing.
Well back to work, Later

Good afternon everyone.
I just want to thank Jay again for coming up and lending a hand on the camper. There were no suprises on the brakes/bearings. Everything looked good save for a few discolored spots on the inner part of the bearing cages (the part that rides on the spindle) The bearings were still in good shape so we just repacked them and reinstalled for this year. I will replace them and probably the brake shoes next spring.
Now, I have had a tail light issue since we bought the camper, they just were not very bright or didn't work at all. We removed both tail light housings and checked the wires. Had 1.8V at the right one and 5.5V at the left one. We wiggled the wires a little bit, removed the upper left marker light and both tail light bulbs. For a while, we had close to full voltage at the tail lights, so we buttoned it up and figured it must be the tail light housings/bulb sockets that were bad. For some reason, I decided to tap on the right side marker light, just around the corner from the tail light. The tail lights, blinked and then quit altogether. We then removed the marker light and found this. The best we could figure is there is a dent right in front of the marker light and it pushed the point of the front screw through the insulation on the wire and shorted it out. Why this wouldn't pop the fuse I don't know, but it didn't. Luckily we found it and fixed it now before something bad happened(think shorted wire and VERY dry wood) I will still replace both tail lights as they are mismatched, one needs silicone to hold the lense on and the bulb socket really suck in them.
