Evening Guys.
Well, I am at work heat treating some parts that are an emergency for a customer that can't plan very well.
Nothing better to do anyway, beacuse we have been without power since 2pm, and Excel said it may be 7-8am tommorow before it is restored. I don't blame the lineman for not wanting to go up in a boom truck in this wind. If it is not on when I get home I will have to run a cord through the window and use the generator.
Troy, It is kind of funny that the other tow truck driver had to go back there to pull out a truck. I guess there are not any tractors out in that area to use.

Gees Lee! I didn't think it was that bad down there! I was talking to my family earlier and they said crappy weather, but I didn't know it was bad enough to knock out the power. It rained on and off up here all day. Within the past half-hour, it has started to snow big heavy flakes. It's melting as soon as it hits the ground though, so it's not the fun snow yet.

LOL, that's pretty funny Steve. You are correct, you didn't mention snow.
Actually, I don't mind the snow, it's the brutal cold that usually comes with it, I am not looking forward to those -20 to -30 days that are not too far away.
We finally got power back, was out for about 1 1/2 hours.

I'm only getting gusts in the 20's here and the wind is holding under 15. I haven't seen a radar though, I should check it out!

You can bet on it! I bought the old girl last year when I got up here. So it my first winter driving a manual. I had a blast going through snow with it. I didn't do too many stupid "stunts" like my buddies up here, but I'll be happy to say I never got it stuck, and the 4.9 pulls chevy's and dodges out without discrimination!

Yeah I will get paid good for that. I am letting the other wrecker guy deal with the guy he went out there to get. When they have settled it I will get paid. I am not worried about it.
