Good morning everyone.... been busy working on spending some $$$$ this morning here at work. Our large format printer/scanner/copier had its controlling computer take a software dump the other day. I got a quote for replacing the controller which the company wanted us to upgrade a few years ago and that was about $5K. To replace the 10 year old system with the newest one out there is $15K taking the old one in trade and a promotional price.

Thoose multifunction machines can be pricey, but well worth the money for what they do..

 

Yeah they are expensive for the initial layout, but they do produce some nice results!

 

I hope the County goes for a new set-up. 10 yrs is a long time in the computer software world.

Boy this sure is taking up a lot of my time today. I have been on the phone with our IT staff several times and the sales rep getting answers for some questions that have been asked, etc........
