Thumbs down odd problem

hey everybody. ok so i have an interesting issue. when i go to put my truck in reverse and take my foot off the brake, it will occasionally stall. like the converter is locking or something like that. the converter is the only thing i can think of that would do that, but any other ideas? and its only when i go from drive to reverse

I've never heard of it happening like you're describing but a bad CPS can cause a stall like that so maybe...

This is going to sound really strange but its something to check. A friends truck had the same exact problem stalling as soon as you put it in reverse and it turned out to be the nut on the ipr was loose. Lol don't worry I didn't believe it either. Dont know why it was only in reverse but Somehow it fixed it though. May not even be close to your problem but its easy and free to check.

It happen to me in 2002 on a construction job trying to go up a grade and was spining so tryed backing under power and it would just kill the engine, let roll back and take another line. it's never done it since. I think all the oil run to the back of the pan and ?

You could always install a zf5. It would fix that problem.
