e4od trans ???
will a transmission out of a 94 f350 idi work with a 95 and up powerstroke trucks? i ask cuz i was offered a parts truck but it has an idi engine in it? i only want it for the d60 but still not sure its worth it. guy claims its got a recently rebuilt trans thats why i ask.

its not a huge power differnce between an idi, 185 and 360lbs vs 215 425lbs, it will hold it but not for ever, i mean look at how long some of us have stage 2s on a stock tranny, upgraded TC and it will hold power for some time. if your in a bind and dont mind doing a tranny again in a few years then do it! i personally dont mind doing tranny swaps
