I don't think I had seen the CO w/bed hot rod til I came here...its pretty neat, and unique.
I bought the one from tulare, its the blue one. The white one with the box is overpriced, I talked to the guy and he is pretty firm.
I'm looking into buying a e350 box van, and using the running gear off it. I don't know if I want to do diesel or the ones with the 460 in them can be pretty cool with a stroker kit.

It definately looks to be in good condition, looks like you did good. I wouldn't mind doing a project like that but have enough on my plate now and like you I do prefer the 56's but would still be happy enough with your find. Will be interested in seeing your future build progress, so keep us posted. Thanks also for posting the picture as I hate when there is reference to pictures that no longer exists.

thanks, I think I will start a new thread with this new project. probably going to happen in a month, to many projects not enough $$ and time
