injection tune up

dose the idi have the oil lubricatng the injectors like the powerstroke
dose,where you need to change it here a viedo link to youtube
to see what i am talking about

put simply.....no. our injectors are controlled by an injection pump. the IP is gear driven off the cam gear and as it rotates, a shot of fuel is blasted to each injector. They also cost a fraction of the powerstrokes, set of eight for us is 130-150 depending on where you get them and what stage. The strokes are that much for one and sometimes more.

The IP in the IDIs are lubricated by the fuel they atre pumping. Likewise, the injectors are lube by the fuel. That is why it is so important to use an additive in the ULSD fuel.
