1998 navigator heat and ac in front not blowing

I recently had smoke coming out of my ac when in operation, so i replaced the heater core, after all day of putting humpty dumpty's dash back together i crank it up and test..... air in the back is blowing and cold/smoke free but up front there is nothing coming out of the vents period. the digital temp ac/heater panel is also displaying in celcius, any body got any ideas?

Is the blower running and no air is coming out, or is the blower motor not working?

From your owners manual:
Press MAX A/C and DEF at the same time (for one second) to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

no air period coming thru in front on any cycle, blower motor was working fine before i started replacing the heater core, i reconnected what few wire harnesses that i had to disconnect to get to the heater core. checked the fuses that operate the ac/heater/blower. max a/c and def at same time just makes it run a diagnostic from what i read in my haynes repair manual. but i'll try it again.

I'd say the connector to the blower motor or the speed resistor is your problem.

I agree with "alloro" Sounds like the connection to the blower motor or the resistor is the problem your are having.

No that's either a vacuum loss issue, or the linkage for the vacuum actuator to the right of the driver's foot is not connected.

drivers side or passenger bc the vaccumm is connected to the actuator, where else would be a good place to check next?

I didn't say vacuum regarding the actuator, I said the linkage.
