I installed a front end leveling kit on my 2010 F250 XLT 2WD 5.4L. By raising the truck the camber changed to 3.6 degrees. So I grabbbed the recomended camber busings and TRIED to install them. That is when I saw there was not enough room for the spindle to move in. It would hit the inner radius of the control arm. I drove up to the local dealer and looked at other trucks, and there is plenty of room in this area. It looks like I could remove the spindle and grind 1/4"out of that tangent area without compromising the integrity. The balljoints seemed to be ok with it?
I have a pic, but I can't get it in here...
Is there any bad history to using the aluminum spacer style leveling kits.
I bought taller springs for my last truck and they kept rusting and breeaking (2 Sets).. so this time I went with the spacer.
Anyone else run into this? I had to cut my 2" lift kit down to 1.4" for now, it looks good, but it looked great at 2".
