tilt column, 50 bucks
NOS antenna's, 5 bucks each
CB/radio antenna splitter, 2 bucks
2 sets of rear cargo covers for a Bronco, 20 bucks
The best part is one of the antenna's is a factory CB antenna and the other is a correct truck/Bronco retractable antenna. The guy had absolutely no clue what he had.
It was all from different guys. The antennas were from a couple of older guys that were completely clueless as to what they had. When I asked him how much he wanted for the antenna he asked if it was the CB antenna, I told him yes as he grabbed it from my hand. He then tells me it isn't the CB antenna and reaches in the box and pulls out a K40 antenna. I then chuckled inside and just asked how much he wanted for it.
I have the CB/radio antenna and splitter from a 78 Bronco...somewhere in my parts stuff...It was a Rollover that my buddy bought for the engine to put in a Girlfriend of his at the times..Bronco.....I got what was left!! LOL
Nice score! I about froze when we first got there. I ended up getting a fender for a 250 and tires for my son's 96 F150. I know I feel like I walked 15 miles! Just soooo much stuff. Hard to wade thru it all.
Hope you didn't overpay for that fender, I have a good set I would of sold cheap. A lot of those guys were on drugs with their prices. It warmed up nicely later in the day. I saw about 3 or 4 nice dentsides there. One guy had a 78 F-250 Lariat 4x4, blue and silver, for sale but the floors were starting to rust thru. He didn't know till I pointed it out to him. Still might give him a call on it and see if he dropped his price.
The fender was not for a dent. I did some remodeling for a guy who has an F250. Like an 83 or so. He told me he was never gonna get to finishing it and why didn't I just take it! 4X4, 4speed with a 460. The interior is very nice, the cab is great, but the front fenders are dinged up. Runs good but needs a serious tune up. Free! I'll post some pics as soon as I get it out of the barn.
So after digging thru all my stuff the antenna makes 3 complete kits that I now have. One of those kits consists of a NOS control box with the protective guard, NOS wire harness on left side of pic and an NOS mic. I wonder what a complete kit with antenna would sell for? Anyone care to take a guess.
