I like it, But I couldn't do it, I cant even keep my headlight switch from falling out everytime I gouge on it.
Maybe some under the dash, because I only drop stuff on the floor in the dark.
Ok, if you can still dim those down, that's frickin sweet.
It looks as if a write up of my door lights is in the works. I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to finish the passenger door and try to knock out the driver's door too. Thanks for all of your input.

Ya they are cranked up for the pics, just remember leds need to be dimmed with a pulse width modulation switch. not voltage modulation, i had to put a separate dimmer in for this, not hard to do just takes a little time and soldering. Its fun having a truck with mods that no one around you has!!
I have put blue leds in my cup holder and also switched all the leds in the window and door locks in my truck to blue, and have installed a blue dash overlay and radio. I love the blue so much more than green, i find it easy on the eyes and it looks awesome I will post some pics tonight after dark!
was it hard making the door locks and stuff blue cause i really want to do that in my truck

That's awesome. I'm gonna have to ask a little more about that in the future, I'm sure.
I FINALLY got the passenger door put back together and I'm not completely happy. I think I'm gonna add 2 more LEDs on the bottom. Also probably gonna add some to light up my future running boards. And I decided to put one in my cupholder too after I dropped a 32oz drink in the dark the other night. (Big thanks to the previous owner, who opted for the carpet delete.)

I had some help at forgotten.com when i did mine. but the site is no longer active, its not really that hard to do, just take your time on the first switch and the rest will be pretty easy.
o-SUPER_DUTY-o those doors look really good, might have to think about doing something like that!
Great job Dean. I like it alot.
Where did you get your dash overlay, and how difficult was it to change over to blue light behind it.
I have been wanting to do that for a while. Its the reason I ordered my white face gauges with blue lights.
Thanks again for all the feedback from everybody. A write up is in the works. I still have to do my driver's side door and I will be taking flotsam of pictures and do a step by step. I've been very busy with work and I'm a single father so finding the time is the hard part. I'm off Wed and Thurs so possibly might get it done then. Thanks again to everyone who took the poll and have left feedback for me.
Blue is not my cup of tea, but supporting guys brave and skilled enough to modify their trucks to suit themselves IS!
Well done!
Tips: Getting LED's from on-line electronics dealers (Mouser, MCM, Newark, et al) will be much, much cheaper. Like 1/10 the cost, or less. Can also find a much better selection of colors. Most of what I use are the newer "warm white" LED's that are closer to 4500K in color than the original "white" leds, that were actually very blue. It took a long time to improve the technology to get a truer white.
